On Thursday, September 18th, SHARP partnered with the Breathing Research and Therapeutics Center (BREATHE) to host a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness Month event at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL. Participants took a tour of the Brooks Rehabilitation Neuro Recovery Center, engaged with demonstrations of research protocols, and shared their perspectives with others over dinner. The event brought together trainees in basic science, clinical interns, clinicians, researchers, and community members impacted by SCI.
